Powerlifting Coaching (WIP)

1. Assessments - Complimentary One-on-One Session with a Coach

Fill out our Powerlifting questionnaire and a staff member will reach out to book your complimentary 30 min one-on-one session with one of our coaches

2. Program Design - Custom Programming

One of our coaches will create a custom individualized program based around your goals and performance from the assessments during the initial one-on-one session.

3. Execution/Accountability

During your training you'll communicate with your coach by logging your sets and reps and sending videos for them to review. Programs are updated/reviewed every Sunday.

 

 

 

Comprehensive Coaching

  • Free initial 30 minute consultation
    • Breaking down goals for powerlifting and develop a plan around those goals

  • 4 x 50 minute one-on-one sessions per month

    • Online or in person breakdown lifts during a training session

    • Speak about future goals in detail and develop a plan

    • Speak about mindset or lifting mentality

  • Open communication (48 hour response time)

  • Individualized periodized program reviewed weekly

    • Program updated/reviewed every sundays

    • Main program released in block usually 4-6 weeks long depending on clients goals

  • Comprehensive video analysis for technique optimization ( 48 hour response time)

  • Powerlifting competition planning including attempt selection, warmups, weight cut, re-feed, and re-hydration

 

Monthly Coaching

  • Free initial 30 minute consultation

    • Breaking down goals for powerlifting and develop a plan around those goals

  • 1 x 50 minute one-on-one session per month

    • Speak about future goals in detail and develop a plan

    • Speak about mindset or lifting mentality

3 in-person introductory coaching sessions

  • 3 x 50 minute one-on-one sessions
  • Analysis and technique overview of the three big lifts (squat, bench, deadlift)
  • Program overview
  • Additional technique work of client’s choice

*Each session is limited to one per member. (this is only available for current members):

  • 1 x 50 minute one-on-one sessions

    • Online or in person breakdown of lifts during a training session

    • Speak about goals and develop a short term plan

    • Speak about mindset or lifting mentality

KURT NAVARRO

Convoy Strength Head Powerlifting Coach

Kurt was born and raised in Hawaii and grew up playing sports like football, wrestling, and track. He joined the Navy and during his active service he competed in bodybuilding/physique, jiu jitsu, and fell in love with powerlifting where he continues to compete and also gives back to the sport as a USAPL referee.
Kurt has always had a strong ambition towards strength training, his desire to learn more has led him to pursue a passion for helping others realize their full potential, both in and out of the gym.
